“We’ve been together since first grade”: cult TV series

V–A–C Sreda online magazine presents its final three-month series of podcasts on significant cultural phenomena of the past that are now almost forgotten or considered extinct, but nevertheless continue to exist.

In this issue, we discuss iconic TV series of the last decade. What was the “Brigada” phenomenon? How do cinema and television create myths about time? Why is the industry once again returning to familiar plots? And how do social networks influence what we watch?

V–A–C Sreda editor Maxim Shibaev considers these and other questions with Timur Aliyev, a film critic and the author of the Komendant Kino Krepost channel and Olga Belik, senior editor of Kinopoisk and author of the KinoKotik channel.
